A Magazine design
and layout is often a large, under time pressure, production.
A magazine
layout includes a wide range of elements, from making a fancy cover, to
making the smallest classified advert. Images, text and Illustrations are
some of the basic elements in the magazine production.
The artworks is
made in Indesign and the printed (A3 offset) paper is folded once, making
4 pages. So the amount of magazine pages will
be 4, 8, 12, 16, etc.
A larger magazine print press will print on huge rolls of
paper and then fold it several times before cutting. The magazine cover
is often printed on a high quality glossy
coated paper.
Other types of similar design is made for Books, product manuals, brochures
etc.
